A TRIBUTE RESOLUTION and EXPRESSION OF CONDOLENCES

Dr. Ed Hinson

Whereas throughout his career Ed has worked tirelessly to preach the Gospel and train others to preach the Gospel and train others to do likewise.

Whereas Ed has flown the banner of the inspiration and infallibility of the Scriptures and has been a faithful expositor of those Scriptures in the classroom and in the personal counseling office.

Whereas Ed utilized his extradentary gift of communication to attract college young people to the wonder of the Scriptures.

Whereas Ed was a strong advocate for the proclamation of the Hope of the seconding of Jesus Christ.

Whereas Ed’s most significant contribution to the biblical counseling movement was that of co-editor and author of Totally Sufficient, one of the first books of the movement dedicated to demonstrating the sufficiency of Scripture for life and godliness.

Resolved that the International Association of Biblical Counselors

recognizes Dr. Ed Hindson’s contributions to the Gospel enterprise from the pulpit to the Sunday School, to Academia. He fought the good fight and finished his course in God’s Providence with God’s enablement to the glory of God.

Be it further resolved that the International Association of Biblical Counselors

extends our condolences to his dear wife, Donna, and his family.
