IABC ANNUAL CONFERENCE
July 25-27, 2023
Society often emphasizes the importance of individual effort and self-determination in carving one's path to success. It is commonly believed that we are the masters of our destiny, and our achievements or failures are solely attributed to our own actions. While this earthly perspective holds familiarity for all, our conference aims to shed light on a different paradigm—the divine Kingdom of God. In striking contrast to the kingdom of man, Jesus himself declared that His kingdom operates on an entirely different plane, transcending the limitations of this world. As Isaiah 55:8 reminds us, God's thoughts and ways are above and beyond ours, surpassing even the heavens in their expanse. Embracing the kingdom of heaven calls us to live by a different measure—the sufficiency of God, rather than relying solely on the sufficiency of man. Our conference seeks to explore what Jesus meant when He said, “My kingdom is not of this world” (John 18:36). And we are reminded that His thoughts and ways are higher than ours and higher than the heavens are above the earth (Isaiah 55:8). In the kingdom of heaven, we are called to live by the sufficiency of God rather than the sufficiency of man.

IABC’s 2021 Conference
The International Association of Biblical Counselors has recently concluded the 2021 IABC Annual Conference, “Hope, Help and Comfort in Troubling Times: Equipping the Saints to Counsel Hope During Difficult Days”
The primary goal of this conference was to bring together friends and ministry partners for fellowship and to proclaim the Word of God.

Each IABC board member will guide us through 2 Timothy as we reflect upon this year’s theme– Committing the Message to the Next Generation of Leaders.
