Our Board of Directors is comprised of a group of experienced Biblical Counselors from across the nation who provide direction and oversight of philosophy, doctrine, and practice. They represent a variety of denominations, backgrounds, and professional training.

Dr. Ed Bulkley is the senior pastor of L.I.F.E. Fellowship, a local Bible church near Denver, Colorado.
He and his wife, Marlowe, have four grown children, Heidi, Holly, Heather, and Dan. Their church enthusiastically supports the genuine Biblical counseling movement by sponsoring Return to the Word, a nationwide radio, television, and internet outreach. Dr. Bulkley has published Why Christians Can't Trust Psychology, Only God Can Heal the Wounded Heart, and How Big Is Your God? through Harvest House Publishers. |

responsibility of overseeing
Regional and State Mentors for
IABC, and currently heads up the
certification process for IABC.
Chuck is also on faculty at
Master's International School of
Divinity, and serves as mentor
to the students in the IABC

| Dr. Alden Laird is the senior pastor of Visalia Evangelical Free Church and the Mountain Regional Mentor for IABC. Alden oversees administrative and business issues for IABC. Pastor Alden is married to Sue, and has four grown children, and several grandchildren. |

| Bill (B.A. Political Science: M.A. Counseling; M.A. Religion; D.Min. of Counseling) is President of Covenant Ministries a Biblical counseling and education ministry in Ft. Worth, Texas. Bill serves as adjunct faculty for LeTourneau University and Master's Divinity School, and is an ordained minister with the Evangelical Church Alliance and is licensed by the Presbyterian Church in America. He is certified by NANC and IABC. Bill is the author of "Leaving Yesterday Behind: A Victim No More" and he and his wife Kathy, have four daughters and one son. |

| Larry has been the Director of Counseling at Birchman Baptist Church, Ft. Worth, Texas, for over 32 years. With extensive training and experience, Larry brings to this Conference a great knowledge of the Word of God and its sufficiency to meet every need. Larry serves on the Board of Directors for IABC. Larry is married to Margaret, and the father of four children. |

| Associate Pastor of Heritage Baptist Church, Lynchburg, VA and Atlantic Regional Mentor. Del is the Music/Worship Pastor at Heritage Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Va. He has been committed to and involved in pastoral counseling since 1993. He is currently working toward earning his Master's degree in Biblical Counseling. Del and his wife, Anne, have been married since 1976 and have three children: Ben (1979), David (1982), and Laura (1985). |

| Bob, of Living in Christ Ministries and European Representative for IABC, is the author of "Counseling God's Way" and travels the world extensively, teaching on Biblical counseling. The keynote speaker for IABC 1999 conference, Bob is a model of Biblical counseling with a gentle voice. |

| Kevin is founder and Pastor of Grace Bible Church in Clayton, Georgia, has been committed from the inception of Grace Bible Church to the exposition of God’s Word through verse-by-verse teaching of the Scriptures. Pastor Kevin has received training in Biblical Counseling with the A.B.C.C. under Lou Priolo, a Fellow with N.A.N.C. Pastor Kevin is presently a certified counselor with I.A.B.C. and is pursuing his Doctorate in Biblical Counseling through the Master’s Divinity School. |

| Paul is the co-founder of the Southern Baptist Association of Biblical Counselors. He has been involved in planning and promoting events related to Biblical Counseling in the Southern Baptist Convention. His primary tasks include counseling and teaching others how to counsel from the Scriptures. He has been involved in establishing four Biblical counseling and training centers. He assisted in establishing a theological training school with a two-year curriculum designed to train pastors both theologically and practically for the ministry. Dr. Dean serves as the South Carolina state coordinator for IABC. |

| Johnny is the senior pastor of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Easley, South Carolina, and serves as the Southeastern Regional Mentor for IABC. He trains and equips laymen to competently counsel using God’s Word as their guide. |
