IABC - Affiliations

You can affiliate your church, organization or ministry with IABC by undergoing an extensive application and approval process. Affiliation with IABC brings a number of benefits, including:

IABC Seal of Approval - An IABC "Seal of Approval" graphic to place on your web site, showing that your organization meets the Biblical Counseling standards of the International Association of Biblical Counselors.
IABC Seal of Approval Banner - A 12" X 24" banner to hang in your facilities with the IABC Seal of Approval, showing your visitors that your organization is affiliated with IABC and provides genuine Biblical Counseling. (Banners are available upon approval for a cost of $50.)
Inclusion on IABC's Web Site - hyperlink from our web site to your web site, as well as additional contact information for your ministry, will be included on the IABC web site, providing free publicity and promotion of your church, ministry, or organization.
Listing as a Referral Agency for Counseling - Approved IABC Affiliates will be listed in our records for referral for Biblical Counseling, meaning that individuals who need counseling in your area will be referred to you.
IABC Certification for your Biblical Counselors - Approved IABC Affiliates can use IABC as their certifying agency for Biblical Counselors from your organization.

How to Become Affiliated with IABC

To begin the Affiliation process, you will first need to complete the IABC Affiliate Application, which can be acquired by calling our offices at 303-469-IABC. The application can also be downloaded here.

Requirements of Ministries Wishing to Seek Approval and Affiliation with IABC

Must be examined and evaluated by a Board Member or Regional Mentor

Evaluation Fees:

$250 Honorarium to Evaluator or Ministry of Evaluator
Ministry seeking Evaluation must pay travel expenses and accommodations for time of evaluation

Affiliation Requirements:

Yearly dues payable at time of affiliation and annual renewal
Yearly dues will be based upon the number of members or size of the ministry
Must submit an annual Statement of Faith and Practice
Must submit an annual Philosophy of Biblical Counseling.

Approved Ministries may purchase an IABC Seal of Approval Window banner for $50/each.

Affiliation may be revoked upon verification of changes in philosophy of doctrine that violate IABC’s positions on Scripture and Counseling Practice.
